Then @ Patricia's I tried Cartagena (Tortuga version) and Vinci Jan 26 -- (JPL) Streetcar Jan 20 -- (Games Day 1) Assault on Hoth, Attila, Carabande, Arbos, Empires of the Ancient World, Expedition, Carcassonne Jan 19 -- (JPL) Carcassonne Jan 17 -- Visiting the Silicon Valley Boardgamers, I got to play Die Mauer, Union Pacific, and Pirate's Plunder with Dave Kohr, Rick Heli, Rich Irving, and others. Jan 12-15 -- Visiting Matt & Jessie. Played just about all of the games I brought! Streetcar (w/ common die roll variant--good!), Get the Goods (all four of us), Mamma Mia x2, En Garde x2, Shipwrecked (inc. Candy), Elchfest x5 Jan 10 -- (LCG) Watched Dave's Netrunner obsession, played Kapitan Wackelpudding, Bongo (wrong rules), Samba de Amigo, En Garde, and Golf Masters. Jan 10 -- (JPL) Die Schlangen von Delhi Jan 7? -- Kapitan Wackelpudding w/ the kids (w/o event cards) Jan 5 -- Al Cabohne w/ wife. I liked it, but it's definitely meaner than Bohnanza, which means it probably won't be a fave of hers. Jan 3 -- (LCG) Spekulation, Mue Jan 3 -- (JPL) Wizard, with hidden bidding (best!)
